Student Visas

Before you can attend school in the United States, you must apply for a visa. There are two types of visas for students; the F-1 and the M-1. Work Visas

Anyone who is not a legal resident of the United States or citizen must have a work visa before they may begin earning a living in the United States. There are many different types of work visas. The most come are the H group of visas which will allow you to live and work legally in the United States. What must you prove?

These temporary visas require you to prove that you do not intend to come to the United States permanently. To prove this, you must show that you have a permanent residence in your home country which you will return to. They may ask for proof that you own or rent a home. You may also have to show your bank account balances in your home country. Why? The United States does not want you to come to the United States permanently on this type of visa.
